George Condo (b. 1957) is an American contemporary artist whose distinctive paintings, drawings and limited edition prints have made him one of the most influential figures in modern art. Best known for his concept of "Artificial Realism", Condo combines elements of Cubism, Surrealism and classical portraiture to create expressive, fragmented characters that explore identity, emotion and the human psyche.
