About the Artist – Ben Eine

Ben Eine is one of the most successful and well-known street artists in the world. His signature letterforms first began springing up in East London two decades ago when Ben – originally a printer working with Banksy and David Shrigley amongst others – started to create more considered art prints which he wanted to stand out from standard graffiti tags and dubs.

His wall art came to the fore through his relationship with Banksy and later, in 2010, the UK Prime Minister of the time David Cameron, gifted his painting Twenty First Century City to the visiting US President Barack Obama. Galleries worldwide collect and exhibit Eine’s work.

Eine is a passionate supporter of causes and in 2011 was invited to design the 50th Anniversary poster for Amnesty International.
