Best known for their pulp fiction series, The Connor Brothers broke into the art world as Franklyn and Brendan Connor, brothers who’d grown up in a cult cut off from modern society and culture.
Their work – mass produced American fiction books from the mid-20th century married with sardonic quotes – quickly gained traction and the artists, now with their true identities revealed (plot spoiler: they’re not brothers) have gone on to global acclaim.
The artists are high profile campaigners to change people’s attitudes towards refugees and have raised funds for the leading mental health charity CALM.
